games worked fine until origin now it says problem connecting to server when I click play

I'm not sure from your description so just to make sure: Do all of your games now show up in Origin and did you install them all as download version ? Can you play if you're offline ? Did you try that ?

all of my games do show up and when I only download and install the base game and world adventures then it works fine but if I try and download and add any more I have the problem connecting to server. I have tried installing them in order by release date aphabetically backwards you name it nothing works. Ive even tried just installing the base game and one expansion at a time but that didnt work either. can you play offline if you use origin?

Ihave been at this for almost 2 weeks now and I am super frustrated.

Pentium (R) Dual-Core CPU   T4200 @ 2.00 GHz
4.00 GB RAM
64-bit Operating System
 
the games I have are:
(these I have disks for and were working fine until I got the games from origin)

The Sims 3,
world adventures,
late night,
Generations,
pets,

these I bought from Origin 
(things went wrong after downloading and installing these and origin)

master suites,  

paradise island.
 
The strange thing is that if I only download and install my base game The Sims 3 (and super patch it)  it works fine and if I add world adventures it works fine but then if I add any one of the others the launcher comes up fine but when I press play after about a minute maybe less I get the message from EA that says,
"There is a problem connecting to servers, Please make sure you are connected to the internet if the problem persists try again later"
 
 I even manually uninstalled anything and everything that had to do with the Sims and Origin. Then after installing my base game I manually installed the super patch but the result is always the same. I am sure that I have tried everything at least twice but I am desperate and willing to try everything a dozen more times if thats what it takes. Is there something that I am overlooking or just dont know anything about (very likely) or maybe its so simple that the guys in chat are overlooking it. I have been in chat a dozen times and nothing has even acted like it was going to work. I am having Sims withdraws and am about ready to try and get my money back for the games I got from origin uninstalling origin and starting an anti origin crusade. Thats not what I want I want to play I cant possibly be the only one thats ever had this problem am I?
 
Heres a list of some of the stuff the guys in chat had me try:
I have completely uninstalled and manually uninstalled and reinstalled origin and all games,
manually installed the super patch,
deleted caches
checked my anti virus and firewalls making sure they werent stopping them,
did the msconfig thing stopping services so nothing else is running,
cut the folder from the EA folder in my documents and pasted it on my desktop so no cc,
did the reg thing,
I by passed my launcher,
registered all games that needed to be,
and tried one game at a time but the only one that works is world adventures and my base game. 
I have also installed games by release date order forward and backwards
deleted %temp% files for origin as instructed
deleted install folders 
Turned UAC on and off and on and off again
I use windows defender but have turned it off
 
So I am thinking that once again I will uninstall all games and origin. Do you have any tips so that I am sure to start fresh as if Ive never played origin or sims on this laptop? Maybe I am overlooking something while doing that. I no longer have any saved games or anything from before the problem since I have already deleted it all to ensure that wasnt the problem so Im not worried about losing anything from past games nor do I have any custom content to worry about.
 
PLEASE BE NY HERO AND HELP ME BEFORE I START STALKING EA employees to get a fix lol. 
 

Yes you can. You start Origin in offline mode. There should be an option on the menu to play offline.

I know you stated that you checked firewall and stuff but wanna give you this list anyways:

I tried to play offline but it said I need to be online the first time to varify ownership of game. 

as far as conflicting programs I did the msconfig thing to stop services and start up programs and I turned off windows defender my norton has expired. I went thru your list and none of those are either on my laptop or they arent running.

Is this a laptop computer ? Could you maybe try to take it somewhere else to see if it's something about your Internet in general ? There have been cases before where people were not able to download/verify something and then with a different internet provider it worked like a charm.

To me, it sounds like your WA and base game are verified fine and that's why they work. The rest isn't so Orign won't let you play them cause it thinks you don't own them

Other than that, I'm really out of ideas.

maybe but I did buy 2 of them from origin so shouldnt they automatically be verified? Also I had been able to play them before although I had used the cd to play which would explain why it works. I can try another place and let you know. At the moment I am waiting to hear back from EA experts because they moved my case to a higher level since the guys in chat are just as stumped. I will let you know what they come up with when I hear back from them just so ya know for future referance. I have a feeling that it is something so small that we are all just over looking it lol.
