Ghost wont show in ghost hunter career

Hi EA.
I having trouble with my sims 3 game. I have them all, except Katy Perrys sweet treet. And in the ghost hunter career I go for the houses and search for ghost, and they say that there is a ghost in a room, but I can't see it. So I can never end my jobs. With spirits there is no problem. That works fine. I hope you can help me solve this problem, because it is really annoying.

It's a bug. There is no solution to this bug except not doing those jobs where you have to scan for ghosts.

same thing is happening to me. I noticed it when I used Buydebug to buy the little containment box spirits and it shows nothing inside the box (should be floating orb)... this is absolute madness that they havent fixed this problem. THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM!!!!!
