I had to move my CCs to a new game folder since the last one was acting screwy. I downloaded the CCs and I installed it to my game, but when I start my game it isn't there. In example, when I go to "Build a town" I have the "Create a Household" and the "Move a Household" option, but I don't have the option to add the "empty houses " that I downloaded. Can someone help me?

Ah, that. You're in tutoral mode. Simply go to edit town to get out of it and you should get the option back.

You mean the houses you've downloaded are not in the game library at the bottom in edit town ?

Do you have any files in the folder documents\electronicarts\thesims3\library ?

I do have files in my library. I can't add buildings or houses that I downloaded from the exchange when I edit my town or start a new town.

Why ? What happens if you try ? You need empty lots to place them.

When I start up my game and click on "new game" I get two options "Select A household" and "Move in household". There is a third slot for Unoccupied houses but that slot doesn't show up anymore.

Ah, that.
