Having to Re-Install Content Every Time I Log in, and it Still Doesn't Show Up in Game

I install custom content packs through the launcher, and it says that the installation was successful. The items show up in the installed tab on the launcher, but when I get in game the items are not there. When I re-open the launcher, those items are no longer listed under the installed tab. This is especially frustrating because I cannot get Riverview to install, but other custom content items are there. Not sure if this is relevant, but I used to play the game through Steam, and I just recently installed Origin, and am now running the game through that.
