he Sims 3 and Its DLCs Missing from EA App Library

Hi there,

I’m having some trouble with The Sims 3 and its DLCs on the EA app. None of them are showing up in my library, even though I own the game and all its DLCs.

When I checked my order history, I saw the purchases listed, but the item names are missing—they just show up as blank entries.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could help me figure this out and recover my games. Thanks so much in advance!

  • I have the same problem. I got a new computer and since there was the update on Sims 3 I wanted to install it on the new one. But only half of the DLCs that I have are showing up. I went through a long and tedious process some years ago when EA had customer service (a person you could talk to, not just a bot) and had them installed on my old computer but now there still seems to be the same issue. I have all the discs and codes but no disc drive and I don´t know where I should put the codes! In the order history there are a bunch of "placeholders" which I am guessing are some of my DLCs. Very frustrating...

    Yes, exaclty! But I asume you might be able to redeem the codes somewhere in the app, but in my case, I can’t even find my old Sims 3 discs anywhere. Feels like I’m stuck with no way to get my games back. :// 

  • @idlsktn and @NinaHernandez  Your order history will also list any purchases from the Sims 3 Store, so please make sure that's not what you're seeing.

    If these entries are in fact for your packs, you can contact EA customer support and ask them to look up the order numbers.  Alternately, you can supply the codes from the discs.  @idlsktn  Try searching for the codes in your computer's registry:

    @NinaHernandez  I would suggest taking a photo for each missing pack showing the disc, its case, and the code (clearly readable).  You can upload these when you submit the help request.

    Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.
