Help with Sims 3 Simport

So I finally got Sims 3 and Showtime downloaded and installed....I STILL cannot send out sims...Really??? I don't understand why it's doing this to me!! 

Maybe the problem is on EAs side and not mine? :catmad:

do you have mods and are they updated to the 1.55 ?

I have absolutely no CC installed, like I said it's ONLY sims 3 and Showtime installed right now

Well, got all my games installed again although I've not installed any CC yet from the sims 3 store I've bought. Simport still is being mean :womanmad:

i've been doing a little digging around

Sims stuck in “Tours in Progress” section of tour book

 Looks like the answer to this is to wait until you have no Sim greyed out in the left side menu (no Sim actively on tour), then change to a different active household.  With a different household active, open Simport and cancel/delete the Sims you wish to cancel in the “Tours in Progress” section of the tour book.  Change back to original active family.

Unfortunately there are no sims out on tour...at all..so even after switching to another household I cannot cancel any tours.
