Houseboats don’t work in CAW anymore

I recently started building a new world in Create a World but have since run into an issue trying to add houseboats. 

When I click to add a houseboat to my port lot in EIG the hull appears but the rest doesn’t generate, so no flooring or lot to build on, and no icon in the map view to select and edit the houseboat, only the port. 

I also tried using the tool ‘Add Houseboat Lot’ in CAW itself and this generates the flooring square but it is blank and doesn’t have the wheel, mailbox, or bin like it should. When I go into EIG this also doesn’t have the icon to edit it. 

Im not sure if anyone knows why this is happening or how I might be able to fix the issue?

I’ve tried changing sea levels, ensuring routing is correct, and terrain. I also made sure houseboats are still working in normal Sims 3 and they are fine, just not for CAW.

    Hi MelissaJade2000​ , how lovely to see that you are creating a new world 😁.
    I have one probably silly question but have you placed the gangway from BuyDebug on your deck as that will determine the area of the houseboat?? ...  I am unable to see it in your screen shot. Also did you pull the deck from the water to land? 🤔

    I'll be away from the computer for the day but I could get into CAW this evening to check it out if you haven't found a solution yet.
