how do I find the serial code when registering for a sims 3 account?
I'm really just confused how to register my Sims 3 with the serial code to a Sims 3 Account, because I can't find the code anywhere. I downloaded it with EA Desktop by the way.
@Natalia_Adamz If Sims 3 is in your Origin/EA Desktop App game library, it's already in your account, and you don't need to do anything else to register it. However, if you're looking to register on the Sims 3 Store site, you may not be able to do so. Last time I asked, the official answer was that this didn't work for anyone who only owned Sims 3 through an EA Play subscription.
What you can try is signing into the store with your EA username and password. If you're prompted to create a new account and enter a serial key, you can see that key through Origin: open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 3 icon, and select Game Properties. This unfortunately doesn't work on origin.com though, nor within the desktop app as far as I can see (I'm looking at it right now), so you would need to install Origin at least briefly.
And it's also possible that even with the key, you won't be able to register the game—I never heard anything about this feature being enabled for people with an EA Play subcription. But I can ask again if you'd like.
