How do I play the game without the CD by using Origin?
I followed the direction for my sims 3 seasons on the sticky post:
1.1 If you would like to use your serial key in the Origin client to create a digital copy of the game, you can.
Follow the steps below in order to redeem the code*:
- Log in to Origin with the EA account you would like your game added to.
- Click on the Origin menu on the top left.
- Select "Redeem Product Code."
- Enter the serial key from the back of your game manual.
The game will be added to your "My Games" section of Origin
But it says on my origin that the code was already redeemed?!?! (But Sims 3 seasons is ALREADY listed unDer "my games" in origin)
Am I missing something here? Can I still make a digital copy so I can play it without the DVD?
And yes, I registered the game at sims3.com via my yahoo account.
The only time I used the code was when I was installing the game from the CD few days ago and it prompted me to enter the code.
I can provide the validation code and the receipt of the game when it was purchased at Gamestop.
I'd like the possibility of playing my game anywhere with my laptop WITHOUT bringing the cd along.
If it's already listed there, just go ahead and downlad. You will need to uninstall any disk versions you have and install the download version.
When you register at thesims3.com it automatically redeems the code at Origin for you.
