How do i redeem a 22 digit promotional coupon code?

I got a promotional code from an EA advisor in an email and i cant figure out where to redeem it. The Email says; "We have also included the following promotional coupon code(s): blahlalalalala...

Did you get it from EA Customer Support ? Those are usually Origin codes that you can redeem on check out when you buy a game from Origin (or Simpoints).

I don't know of a place at thesims3.com where you could redeem a 22 digital promotional code.
