How do I transfer my save data from The Sims 3 EA Desktop to The Sims 3 Steam?
I was planning to switch from playing The Sims 3 on EA Desktop to Playing it on Steam. How would transfer my save data?
@BlazeOfSteel412 Sims 3 saves are stored in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves on any plaftorm. This Sims 3 folder is actually transferrable between types of installs and even between Windows and macOS, although you'd need to reinstall your store content. Sims 3 doesn't support cloud saving, even if you have the option enabled, so there's nothing to download.
In case you didn't know, you can't actually play Sims 3 through Steam unless you buy the game in Steam. There's no way to transfer packs you own in Origin to your Steam library, although the reverse does work.
