How do I update my Sims 3 expansion packs?
I just downloaded my Sims 3 game and (some of) my expansion packs onto my new laptop. Two of the expansion packs say that I can't install them until they are updated. How do I do this?

You need to update your base game.
What is your base game version right now ?
Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.It should say 1.57. If it's not at that version, try downloading the patch manually here:
