how to get a new product code for sims3

I have just bought a pre-owned copy of The Sims3, when i try to used it and enter the product code it alerts me that 'This code has already been used'

Can you please tell me how i can get a new product code.

Please keep in mind that if you bought the game off Origin, it is AUTOMATICALLY registered FOR YOU! To get your accounts connected, simply use the same details as you use for Origin.

If you have bought the game second-hand - you will not be able to re-register it. Games can only be registered ONCE.

@snakeygirl04 Where did you buy your game? When did you buy your game? You do not buy the game - what you pay for is a license to use the software under the terms of service and EULA. Are you sure EA deactivated the code? If you lost the code and you still have the computer, the code should still be it the registry. There are several posts you can google on how to retrieve the code from your registry. Do you have the card with the code? Did you buy the digital download version? Did the game ever work in Origin? You have to provide more information to help you.

@lanneyt  Why do you need a new activation code? What is wrong with the old code? Where did you buy the game?
