How to install Sims 3 on Windows 8
I purchased The sims 3 starter pack. I put "The Sims 3 disk in and nothing happened. No autorun install popped up so I manually went into the cd drive and opened the sims 3 file and clicked on setup....

I kind of have the same problem.. I was able to get it installed, but when I'm starting it nothing happens. I hve tried soooo many times.. What to do?
Do you have bitDefender installed on your computer ? It has a known conflict.
Also is this your frist time installation on this computer ?
