If I do this will I still be able to find a specific package CC file that has been merged with others in case I want to delete just that one specific file?
Thanks in advance! :D
Not easily, some of the CC package files have multiple files within them. When you merge them this way those multiple files will be what is in the merged file, so that is what you would need to look for.
What I do is keep all of my CC (original files) in a folder I set up just for CC backup. I keep them in a sub-folder of my downloads named "Sims 3 stuff". In there, I keep them separated into further sub-folders separated by type of CC and source. So, for example, my NewSea Hairs are in the folder "\Downloads\Sims 3 Stuff\Hairs\NewSea".
Then, if I want to get rid of any specific CC I just remove it from there and re-do this merge process to make a new merged file for in the Mods\Packages folder.
My explanation sounds more complicated than it is...I hope it makes sense. I couldn't figure out how to explain it with less words.
