I can not get the sims 3 launcher to prompt for the store content patch download

I just purchased new store content and I can not install any of it because it always says installion failed, make sure I have the latest patches. My game is up to date but what I noticed is that my c...

close your game down , make sure you are connected to the internet then launcher the launcher then in the last tab Game updates click refresh see if that will get the store patch 2.2. to dl and install for you

Unfortunately this did nothing. I've redownloaded origin and all the games/eps and nothing seems to work. My launcher seems to think it already has the store patch this is horrible ☹️

You have to be off line for the sims store patch to kick in. This has happened to me more than once! Try opening your launcher at desktop and see if the notice for the store patch shows up.

  I tried this as you suggested numerous times and nothing 😕mileysad: I guess I'l have to take this as a loss and just window shop at the the sims 3 store for now on lol. Thanks guys.
