I can't get my firefighter Sim to rescue trapped Sims.

When tried to put out a large house fire for the first time as a firefighter on The Sims 3 I was able to enxtinguish all the flames, but I couldn't break down all the outside doors (there were three outside doors and I could only break down two) and go inside to rescue the four trapped Sims who are still screaming and freaking out even after I put out the fire. One of them was just  in front of the main enterance inside and I couldn't get near her. With no other clue as to how to save them I got very annoyed and quit without savng. I don't want them to die, what am I supposed to do?

So, you've already finished the job?

    Reset those sims:

    • open cheat console (shift, ctrl, c)
    • type in (do this for each individual or otherwise for everyone): resetSim firstname surname / resetSim * (will reset every sim in the neighbourhood)
    • hit enter
  • That has happened to me before and i cant remeber how i fixed it but do what andromache2013 said.

  • If you’re sim is trying to stop a house fire in an apartment, you have to use the elevator to get to the sims and then break the door down
