I can't purchase The Sims 3 Roaring Heights Gold Edition

Question

Whenever I try to purchase the world (or any other product for the Sims 3 really), I get the same message: "We're unable to process your order at this time due to an issue with your provided payment method. Please use a different payment method to complete your order, or try again later". I've already tried:

Logging out and logging in again. Then, trying to buy the product again.
Changing payment methods.
Calling my credit card provider (Visa) and making them check if there were any restrictions of any sort (there weren't).
Designating my credit card as my preferred payment method in the EA account settings.

And every time I've got the same message. I'd like to solve this issue before February 10th, day in which the Chinese new year offers finish. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!
