Okay, so not so long ago I started the whole mods things cause I got fed up with all the glitches and it worked out fine. But then the 1.63 update came along and I totally forgot to remove my mods!!!...

have you moved the mods folder to the desktop ? have you cleared the cache files ? make sure your mods folder also has the resource.cfg file in there too that you didn't delete it other wise redownload the mod file/folder have you gone to where you got mods from and downloaded the ones that are to your patch level of 1.63 ?
I actually got it to work a little while ago but I have a new issue that maybe you can help me with. Every time I go onto the map view I get the pop up "Sims 3 has stopped working". My game works fine until I go to the map view, then I get the pop up every time. You think you can help me?
Do you still have mods and custom content in your game ?

do you have delphy's dashboard if you do run that it may show you if you have a mod that is conflicting with another mod quickest way i know to see if they are conflicting
