I NEED HELP. sims 3 save lost and i have renamed the file

Did you do that while the game was running ?

If so, try restarting your game.

Are there any files in the folder CurrentGame.sims3 ?

Do you have any other save games that do show up ? What happens if you create a new game and then save (under a new name), exit and restart ? Is that still availble ?

i dont have any other saved games (i just really started playing) i have created a new game and it just goes straight to the folder that the other saves were in.

The CurrentGame.sims3 folder is empty. So i have probably lost my game

completely!!!!!! ☹️ 

But you still have that savegame in the folder that you're trying to get to show ?

Is it gone from the menu completely or do you get an error when trying to open it ?

Basically, Its not in the sims game but it is still in the folder!

Since it's called sunset valley I assue you were playing in sunset valley, right ?

Could you post a screenshot of your saves folder ? Just upload to some picture sharing site and post the link here. It's easier.

Make sure you remove any personal info such as your name and stuff showing on the screenshot.
