[Info] Script Errors on the Launcher

Many people seem to have issues with Script Errors popping up on the launcher. Those errors are usually caused by the welcome page of the launcher which can't properly display the content. This...

I have problems with a script error on the launcher, which I think leads to my game shutting down a few minutes after I start playing, no matter what family or world i play in, and says that Sims 3 has stopped working.

I have checked all of the above suggestions, and everything is up to date. I have also tried passing the launcher.. But nothing seems to work.

operating system i Windows 7

No matter yes or no it shuts down after a short period of playing

I have the newest version of IE

    Same problem here.

    Windows 8.1 all software up to date.

    No adblockers.

    YES or NO both result in the dialogue going away for a few moments but then re-appearing again shortly afterwards (seconds, not minutes).

    Not sure if related or not but I created a thread (here --> http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Log-in-problems/m-p/3286663#U3286663) which mentions that I am unable to log in on the "Welcome" tab but appear to be logged in on the other tabs (e.g. Downloads etc).
