[INFORMATION] Origin Client for Mac

Hi everyone,

For all the Mac gamers out there, Origin’s Mac Client is now available worldwide. Get the full details on the client, available games, and dual-platform play on the official Origin blog. If you have any additional feedback, head to www.facebook.com/origininsider and tell the Origin team what you think.

One new feature will be of particular interest for gamers who play on both PC and Mac machines: dual-platform play. For select EA games (that are available on both PC and Mac), you can buy a title once on Origin, and when you log into Origin on either Mac or PC, that same game will appear in your newly unified (Mac/PC) My Games library.

You can find this new feature in your Origin client here (choose Mac as platform and you can see which of your games are available for the Origin Mac Client):

If you experience technical issues, please use this thread in the Origin board to let us know about any problems encountered:

Have fun playing!

Are there any differences between the Mac Origin Client and the PC Origin Client?

Once you have installed your new Origin Client on Mac OSX, if you’re familiar with Origin on PC you will notice that both clients are very similar. The only difference is that your menu bar is located on the top of your Mac screen, rather than in the Origin client window.

You can redeem a new Product Code by simply clicking on the “Games” Top-menu and selecting “Redeem Product Code,” rather than finding “Redeem Product Code” under “Origin,” as on PC.
