The patch should now by itself which drive to install to.
I would manually uninstall everything and clean the registery. Then reinstall.

I can't uninstall because of the Install Shield error!

Thanks my sims thank you for your help. They founded a new religion called crinrict! Lol.
That gives me an idea for a new expansion pack called religion. It would have new proffesions such as Religious Zelot, Priest, Monk ect... Your sims could go to church or a temple.
