Had trouble with disk authentication so I was advised to uninstall and then reinstall from origin, but now when I try to install from either origin or disk and it gives the message error (-5006 : 0x80070002) occurred and to contact EA. Anyone know what to do?
could be left over files or missed a file in hidden files/folders registry keys see this for a manual uninstall

and get ccleaner from piriform they have a free version http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download that should help with left over files and keys when you download the ccleaner run the cleaner a few times then run the second tab registry a few times
