Installation Issue: Stuck in Allocating Disk Space During Installation (Steam)

Bought The Sims 3 via Steam today. Tried downloading and installing but it gets stuck in Allocating Disk Space even after it's done downloading and installing. Once I cancel the Allocating Disk Space...

i just unpuged my ethernet and reconnected that`s what fixed it for me at first it sayd 24 day left and when i did that i was only 4 min 36 sec
but it might just have been a fluke
