@DoubleLeggy I know if you take an item from EA and recolor it like a hat (change from black to red) and EA can detect the signature and it could be rejected. If you have a room with an EA object, it will probably get replaced or eliminated. It may even block the whole room. It does not matter if you created it or if you didn't - most EA items have a signature so you can't download and pass it around. If you take a pre made sim and make some changes you may be able to save it for another world or move but you may be barred from uploading that sim for public download. I'm not really sure on the studio stuff.
@roberta591 Ah okay, yeah it's been so long since I made those Sims and lots I can't remember the specifics. But I do change the colors and patterns of things pretty much every time I play, so I'm likely out of luck. Thank you for the help though; I decided to just bite the bullet and remake some Sims from scratch, but keep 'em "vanilla" with no CC stuff. Hopefully they should be okay, then!
