@transonlyocean By the glitch, you mean that a sim inspects the portal but won't stop, nothing happens, etc.? Please do that factory reset you were going to try, start a new save with any random family, and see whether the portal works. (Don't add anything to the new game folder before testing.) If everything works, you can copy your existing save into the new folder (don't add anything else) and test. Let me know how it goes.
