inventory not showing up The sims 3 PS3

Question

I moved my family into a new home. After I saved and turned the game on the next day my inventory shows up blank. The game realizes I still have items in my inventory because when I go to the supermarket I have the option of selling fish and vegetables in my inventory. However when I leave the store and open my inventory I cannot see anything. I can't even buy anything from the stores and use it because once I leave the stores the item dissapears. The only items that shows up are leftover foods.

Can you please try to delete your game data utility? It's possible that this got corrupted. Deleting it should help.

After moving my family into a new home saving and turning on the game the next day, I could not access my inventory the game recognizes that I have items in my inventory but I just cannot get to them. My backpack icon is half full and when I go to the supermarket I have the option of selling all fish and fruits in my inventory. I tried deleting the utility game data three times and that didn't fix the problem. Any help would be much a appreciated.

Then try this: Go to edit town, evict your household and place them back.
