Is there a fix to the outline around pets?

I've had this issue ever since TS3 Pets first released and I have seen a lot of screenshots of peoples pets also having this issue so I'm not sure if it's actually intended or not. However my animals (if furry) always have an outline around them like the screenshots below. I've fixed this before by turning off AA but I cannot play without AA so is there anything other than that which could fix this? It's a lot more noticeable if the pets have lighter colors like white.

    @wexxam  This is, unfortunately, a Known Issue with certain graphics cards.  You can try playing with the anti-aliasing settings, for example the Nvidia Control Panel had four main settings the last time I looked.  Disabling Edge Smoothing in-game (so the driver's AA is the only one active) may also help.  But aside from that, and barring the purchase of a new GPU, there's no way to fix this.

    That's very disappointing. I wish they fixed it before stopping support. It's been like this since  it's release. Thanks anyway.
