Late Night Vanished from origin?

I recently built myself a new pc so I had to move my game to that, it did not have a disk reader so I had to download the game and all my expansions from origin, it all worked fine but when I look at my expansions late night wasn't there. being the lazy piece of garbage I am, instead of opening my old computer to see if I could fix it, I went to buy it online again. When I checked the expansions tab I COULD see all the other expansions, but late night wasn't there...

So was it removed or something cause I cant find it anywhere on origin.

  • @sonoemilia  See the above post about checking the extra content in Origin. LN was there but mine says download and buy as gift (gift yourself?). Amazon has it for PC download $15.43 (or $19.28 for disc version which is out of date) - you don't need the disc - all you need is the code (redeem code) to enable the digital download from Origin. IDK why LN is missing - strange. BTY: the packs I don't have say buy $19.99 in Origin extra content.

I purchased it as a disk a couple years back. In an Argos I believe.

@Mattt1453 If you did purchase LN from a third party reseller you really need to talk to them first. You can discuss this situation with EA - EA customer service Please refer to the following post - link - authorized retailers  Please be aware some resellers are getting their product from wholesalers who service big box stores. The store is responsible for the sale so the first thing you need to do is contact the point of sale

  • I bought all the Sims 3 dlc's in cd. I had to contact Support when I returned to Sims 3 recently and saw missing dlc. Using live chat through Windows Explorer I got them fixed. I did have to give them the codes that came with them, luckily I kept the boxes.

@Mattt1453  If you purchased the disc version (the code should indicate that) contact EA customer service EA customer service  and they may reinstate the pack.  Try open Origin - right click the game icon - click show game details - click extra content - look for LN.

I've been having a similar issue. I want to download Late Night (mostly because I want a piano) but... dot dot dot... It's nowhere to be found in Origin. Turns out (because my husband just got into Sims 3) they don't offer it as a stand-alone game anymore. It's only part of the Sims 3 Starter Pack, along with Master Suite Stuff (which is the way he bought the game). I have hesitated calling Origin help (b/c I have my doubts on how helpful they'll be). I don't assume they'd offer it separately anymore, but if you have a valid serial code, they might be able to add it to your collection. I did see you bought it from an outside source.

Wish I could help more. Unfortunately, that's all the info I have. Sigh.

  • Like roberta said, I'd just buy a CD Origin key code for Late Night somewhere online. They work fine, and are generally cheaper than buying directly through origin anyway. A website I know for sure works is GamesDeal.com, thats where I bought most of my Sims 3 expansions. 🙂

@Mattt1453 @hugojae  If you buy the disc version all you need is the code. Be careful who you buy from as unauthorized vendors are getting the codes they sell deactivated. Just make sure the vendor will guarantee the code will work before you buy.
