Launcher crashing when entering downloads, uploads or installed content (Mac)

Hi, I recently got back into the sims because I haven't had a good macbook in a while (now I do). I haven't really utilized the download function of the launcher, but I wanted to download some lots so I had to add them there. When I tried to access the download function of the launcher, it crashed. (and also on "uploads" and "installed content") The only sim I ever installed was my own creation from a save, but I cleared that before. I read somewhere to move the entire Sims 3 folder to desktop and to slowly try copy pasting and replacing the DCCache and no crashes, even after adding my mods folder and saves. I think the files themselves just dont work, as I try them one by one. 

I would like to test the rest of my files, which ones should I transfer? Which one is the furniture change with create a style, my saved patterns, saved wallpaper etc? Would also like to transfer my personalized furniture collections
