Lunar Cycle Werewolf Townie Glitch (Sims 3 supernatural)

The bug itself has been fixed but affected games can't be saved.

It might work though to save on a full moon between 5 and 9 pm again. Maybe that remedies it.

If not, save your family to the library via edit town and move them to a new game.

Ok ! I'll try that. And what do you mean affected games can't be saved, like they cant be helped after saving before you updated and fixed it ?

ok well....I tried that and all the townies are still werewolves....anyone got any suggestions?

do have a witch sim ?have them make  use potent cure elixrs or if your my page friends have those elixers ask them to send the potions to you via the free in game gifts

No I haven't really played with witches yet. Does it have to be a witch sim? all they need to know is the alchemy skill right? and this will do what? will it make them out of there werewolf stage...I don't want to cure them and make them human I just want all the townies to be normal and change during full moon again. PLEASEEEE HELPPPPP

yep a normal sim can learn the alchemy skill from teen and up you can either have your sim read the books or just buy the alchemy station and learn from there also you'll either  have to cure most of them or all of them to get your saved back to normal when you have cured some or all of the sims you can make a bottle curse of the lycan and turn some sims back to werewolf say 2 or 3 to start with and see how it goes    (as crinrint has said saved games effected by this glitch can't be saved ) this is one way of doing so but it will take time to do it (unless you want to start over with  a new game)

This is still happening in 2018. I thought the bug had been fixed??

@kendalldant  There are still plenty of bugs in TS3; I'm not sure if this one is completely gone.  (Of course, if you have a disc install, you'd need to patch the game to get whatever fix there is.)  Have you tried the suggestions described above by crinrict and rumbutter?  Those are a good place to start.

If none of that helps, please post a description of exactly what you're seeing in-game, as well as what you've done so far to try to fix it.  You could also start your own thread, if you'd like.
