Mac: Error with sims 3 "Unknown Error Occurred" (after installing).

I have exactly the same problem. I'm not running any antivirus program and I don't have any kind of programs. Please help me :'(

  Please try one or all of the following troubleshooting steps:
  
  Open Documents > Electronic Arts and drag the Sims 3 folder to your desktop. Relaunch the game, create a Sim, move to a house and play for a good 20 minutes or so if you can. Is it now working?
  
  Play in windowed mode - when the game launches in full screen hold down CMD and press the Return/Enter key.
  
  Purging RAM before you launch the game and frequently during gameplay.
  
  If you have a post-2013 model Mac check whether it is listed in this thread and follow the workaround if necessary - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/CURRENT-ISSUE-The-Sims-3-Issues-playing-on-newer-post-2013-Macs/m-p/4935394#U4935394
  
  If you have recently uninstalled and re-installed the game did you make sure to get rid of every single file from the previous install? Just using the uninstaller is not enough.
  
  If none of the above work please reply with the full specification of your Mac. If you do not know how to find this follow the instructions here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-3-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4756624/highlight/true#M4 Providing all the information about your Mac and game is essential. Just stating what operating system you're using or what year your Mac is doesn't help at all.

    @Bluebellflora I couldn't do any of you said because the launcher is not opening and it says "unknown error occurred" so I can not run the game. And I think I wrote all of the information about my mac in my other post like you said.

When I try to launch the Sims 3 I get an "Unknown Error Occurred" every time. I have EPs but I did a clean erase of all games and only re-downloaded the base game to see if that would help but it didn't. (Edit: I looked at your page and followed the instructions for a link you posted to bypass the launcher [I had tried this in the past but that was before I patched up to date] and this helped. I made it as far as the plumbob with a blue background (the plumbob wasn't spinning) until I got a new message.

"Unable to Start Game

Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb)"

Your only option is to press "Okay" and it exits.

My game is patched up to date. It wasn't at first but I followed your instructions I found on how to do the super patch so now I'm at 1.67

  I think your problem is related to Sierra as the game hasn't been updated since January 2014 when OS X 10.9 Mavericks was the current operating system. The game has caused a lot of issues for Simmers running El Capitan and Sierra. Can you set up a new user account on your Mac and try and play in that?

i have a late 2013 mac
with MACos mojave 1.14.6
and i've tried everything and my game just wont work.
i tried getting the patch thing and it said it had a problem decrunching, and when i tried downloading the other app it wasn't available in my region.
i only have the base game installed right now but i bought them all and i'm really sad.
please help.
i have tried everything i can think of, except buying a windows. ☹️
also i cant download the windows thing on my mac because idk what an iso image thing is.
help...

  And start by doing a clean uninstall of everything Sims 3-related. A simple uninstall doesn't remove certain hidden library files, and those files can prevent you from launching the game going forward, even if you do everything else right. Here's how to do a clean uninstall:
