A bump and a question.
Does anyone else get a finder crash/blue screen crash? I haven't seen it mentioned in any thread, and search is coming up empty.
UL is now crashing my mbp completely/crashing finder--it goes to a blank blue screen (like the blue startup screen) and I have to hold the power button to shut it down manually. I'm slightly worried it may end up frying my computer altogether. No other application has caused this.
I have plans to try Bootcamp, but can't justify purchasing a copy of windows right now. I've tried all the usual tricks aside from another clean install, but I'd rather not waste a day reinstalling if I'm only going to reinstall with Bootcamp anyway.
I'm running every EP/SP except the Katy Perry one, and a vanilla game. No mods or CC at all, though I have store content. My game is patched to current. Before installing UL, I could play Seasons, if you call CTD every 20-30m "playing". I'd then get the "The Sims 3 quit unexpectedly" error, or an occasional hard freeze, or an error 12 (which was resolved by turning off the seasons effects. Lol).
