I have only just found this thread and since I am not on my home computer I haven't had a chance to try any of the fixes. But I just had to say that just reading this thread and seeing all the problems I have listed makes me feel better to know that it is not only me having this issue! I have wondered myself whether things I do or cheats I have used are what is causing the problem. Perhaps that hasn't helped but just knowing that so many of these things are common Mac issues makes me feel better to not be alone. I guess misery does love company :? I plan to work on some of these fixes as soon as I am at my computer again. And thanks for creating this thread and especially for the explanation on cider and how Sims runs on a Mac. Cider crashes on me all the time. I thought it was a good thing that they made it compatible with both. But I guess they didn't really make it compatible ... just available.
