[Mac] Installer quit unexpectedly after copying all files

I am trying to install Sims 3 on my iMac (Yosemite). The installation get past the copying of the files and then I get an error message stating that the installer quit unexpectedly, with options to "...

    iMac was rebooted and Origin reinstalled. After this I was able to install Sims 3 :-)

I am currently installing through the "i" button method, no joy.

I don't have anti-virus software installed on my iMac.

My origin client is upto date

iMac was rebooted and Origin reinstalled. After this I was able to install Sims 3 :-)
