[MAC] The Sims 3 not launching

Could you post some info about your mac.

It's an iMac so a desktop! It's running the sims 3 and high loft stuff it's also running late night and island paradise! It's just over a year old!

Are you trying to log in to the launcher or do you only press the play button? When it closes, do you see any error message or does it just return to desktop?

Has this just started happening recently? If so, have you changed anything since the last time it worked properly? For example have up patched the game or installed any new content?

How much RAM does your Mac have?
