- A detailed description of what is occurring: After purchasing, downloading, and installing Sims 3 Pets expansion, my game was unable to load. The launch scree won't pop up and it says an unkown error occured. During installation it said that the games were more recent than expected and the game may not be compatiable. I installed anyway.
- A detailed description of any troubleshooting you have already attempted: I manually patched the game to make sure it was fully updated (the reason I read most commonly cuases the unknown error). It didn't work. Neither did uninstalling and reinstalling the expansion, the entire series, or orgin. NOTHING IS WORKING. I just wan't to play the Sims :'(
P.S. - When will this error be fixed? Could we opt in to have the digital version removed and be sent a hard copy of the game? I seem to not have any problems with disc copies, only with the orgin installer.
Ursula: We added a workaround to the first post. Can you please try this?
