13 years agoCurrently, Mac players are having some issues with downloading, installing, or launchingThe Sims 3 and its expansions. This is a known issue and The Sims team is working hard to determine the cause so that we can get all of our players back in their game as soon as possible.
If you would like to help with this investigation, please report your issue here on Answer HQwith the following information:
- Origin ID: mfdancer
- Are you opted into the Origin Beta? Yes/No: (Origin menu > Application Settings > Origin Beta Participation): YES
- OS X version (How to find your OS version): 10.8.4
- Processor, Memory and Graphics card information (Follow Step #1 through Step #3 to find this information: Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB, Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, Processor: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- Expansions you have/have active: World Adventures, High End Loft Stuff, Ambitions, Fast Lane Stuff, Night Life, Outdoor living, Generations, Town Life Stuff, Pets, Showtime, Super Natural, Seasons, University Life
- Any error message received: No Error Message
- A detailed description of what is occurring: In Game Freezing; I try to play in liveplay mode, but it won't load to live play... for example, I created a sim, place the sim in the neighborhood, and it won't let me play the actual game.
- A detailed description of any troubleshooting you have already attempted: Restarting the game multiple times, lowering graphics
