Materializing Materials

When I try to use CAS in sims 3 it refuses to work. I literally waited an hour for it to load and still...nothing. I've tried running my game without custom content, removing all my patterns, reinstalling my game, checking for updates, I don't know what to do anymore. I just want to use CAS. HELP!

Sorry for the late reply. I have already tried both of those things that crinrict suggested multiple times.
