Since the newest update from Origin my menu bar keeps showing in the top of my screen when playing fullscreen Sims. It covers the top of my screen and stuff will not show completely (like the taskbar...

Changing the origin's resolution fixed the problem with the in-game solution. But I still have the menu balk on top of the game. Only when playing in full screen it's hiding my sims' taskbar. Don't know how to fix this..
Most annoying thing is that I can't cancel actions. So for instance my Sim can only sleep as long as she needs to, but I can't stop it in-between.
Changed to dark-mode, it's better but still not the best
