Missing Interactions and objects

I have only just found out from browsing the forums that there is apparently an option to 'Add Snack Bowls' to the island counters , but when I try clicking on the counters it says ' no interactions available ' !

As I have just installed ' Island Paradise' and my game is updated to 1.55 why am I missing this part of the game ??

    Do you have the Showtime expansion? The ability to add snack bowls to counters came with this expansion.
