    Hi @Worder123456,

    I'd recommend that you get in contact with the live support team so they can verify if you've ever redeemed your code previously to your account or to another EA account you own. Here on AHQ, this isn't something we'd be able to check for as we don't have access to your account details, but the live support team can investigate further and try to locate your game with you.

    Please reach out to live support through the help site here so they can take a look with you- if you have any troubles getting in contact with the team there, be sure to let me know!

  • The Sims 3 base game is not free and I don't where my father keep it or throw it. So frustrating to download it for free.

    I am scare that if e.a services will ask my father for verification code or something to confirm about looking into my product code.

    I don't know how to purchase the Sims 3 base game for free.

    I want to know how to get my Sims 4 product I tried many ways as per the E.A services instructions on finding product code but to no avail I cannot even get to it.

    @Worder123456

    These are details you'll need to discuss with the live support team- we do not have access to any of your account information here on the forums and would not be able to help locate your games or assist with account verification on AHQ. Please contact the live support team so they can explore your options with you.

  • Where I can contact the live support team? Can you send me link of it? I don't have Facebook and Twitter.

    @Worder123456

    You can also get in contact with live support by submitting a help request on the site here if you don't use Twitter or Facebook.

  • That was also useless. As I mentioned earlier they will not show me anything how to find product code. It just showed me theory and no practical knowledge. I tried many ways to find code as per their instructions. Well can you send me another link of it. I still don't know how to find a product.

    @Worder123456  I suspect you do not play this game while connected to the internet. I also suspect you may or may not have an EA account. That being said in 2009 when this game was released distributors used a DRM call SecuROM and SafeDisc. I don't know if there are any SecuROM servers still in use but I suspect there are some. If you install by optical disk you will intall SecuROM and SafeDisc. It's on the install disc. SecuROM is considered a rootkit with root privileges. SecuROM is not easy to get rid of. This limits the times you can install this game. This amount is controlled by the distributor and in this case the limit I believe was 5. Then there was a program to recover installs. SafeDisc required athe latest released to market disk in the optical drive to play. Both SecuROM and SafeDisc were so poorly maintained that Microsoft and Apple decided to stop supporting it. Windows no longer supports SecuROM. With optical drives disappearing that make SafeDisc a problem if your computer does not have an optical drive. Enter Origin. Origin was/is a softwear form of DRM much like Steam. Origin needs to be running to play the game. Fast forward to now. EA has introduced the EA app. PC users for now and I'm guessing mac user will follow. As of today the Sims 3 version for pcs is 1.69. First you have to have the game installed and running. Then you have to donload and install the masterpatch to 1.67. Then when you run the game with version 1.67 the game should/did patch to version 1.69. The version 1.69 patch removes/disables SecuROM and SafeDisc. So much for the original DRM. In simple terms SecuROM can (and does) leave your computer vulnerable to viruses. So much for the history lesson. Today pc user a supposed to use the new EA app. There was  a recent EA post that said an install issue has been fixed. I have not had the time to test this yet. I was using the EA app when about Feb 2 I started the Sims 3 game to find all my store items uninstalled again. After 2 days of trying everything I could think of to get the game to work under the EA app, I decided to try Origin again. I still had an Origin installer in my downloads folder and installed Origin. I uninstalled the game and moved my game data out of the user documents folder to prepare for a clean install. To make a long story short my games Sims 3 and Sims4care stable and running fime under Origin. I know that sooner or latere I'll probably need to go back to the EA app but for now i'm taking a wait and ess.stance. As of today I can only recommend you run this game under Origin. This could (and probably will) change at any time I JUSY CHECKED before typing this that both my Sims 3 and Sims 4 are stanle and working under Origin.

  • I created account in Origin only. I thought to myself I could download the Sims 3 base game and Sims 4 base game for free. After I using Origin I have discovered I can't install Sims 3 base game for free and Sims 4 was free.
