Moonlighting at a bar doesn't make money

Question

My sim's mixology skill is mastered, and there are pop up windows telling me how much money i earned from moonlighting

but the money never ever gets added to my family fund.

Occasionally when i make drinks for customers i would get $20 tips but that's all i get for the entire day of bartending.

The pop up says i made $2000 from bartending, but where is that $2000??

I looked through the forum and apparently, a lot of people are experiencing the same problem but nobody knew how to fix it.

it seems like it is a bug that has existed since late night was launched but EA didn't bother addressing this issue.

Is there a solution to this problem? If it is a bug, are you guys planning on fixing this anytime soon?

I thought this was fixed somewhere along the line. Never had this issue.

Are you patched to the latest version ?

My game is patched, and the expansion packs i have are world adventures+generations+late night+ supernatural+ seasons+ high end loft stuff pack.

All of them are purchased through origin.

If the issue was fixed, could you please let me know how they solved this problem?

Well, I thought they fixed the code that was faulty. I don't know the details.

There was a patch yesterday. Did you try that ?
