Moving house to an empty lot
I have an eye on the house in Champs Les Sims and I've spotted an empty lot in the middle of the city and I want to move it there. Is there anyway to move it without "Edit town", I need it to be a legit purchase of the house, so it wouldn't feel like cheating. Can it be done after purchasing the empty lot and then editing it in "Buy mode". I don't want to touch "Edit town" and buying the lot with the copied house prior to purchasing that empty lot.
@Ganktoronto I'm not sure why using Edit Town would feel like cheating. If you copy the house to the library and place it on the new lot, that lot should cost the appropriate amount when your sims go to buy it. You'll also need to make sure the lot is designated as "player-ownable" if you want your sims to be able to buy it.
But no, there's no way to do this without Edit Town.
