My CD key is too short

You need to understand that most of us here do not work for EA (the ones with EA in their name and the title commnity manager do), so we only CAN link you to threads that have been posted.
The community managers also only know what customer support decides to tell them and that seems to change a lot.
This maybe not the way it should be but that's how it is and we helpers (users like you) try to make the best of the situation as it is.
If you want a new key, only customer support can provide those and there seems to be conflicting info on how one needs to go about atm. With the weekend on the horizon, this is only going to be worse and believe me, I'm not looking forward to it.
We're trying to help the best that we can and if people start attacking us, well, we'll stopp and then no one will help you cause that's just how it is (again, not saying it should be that way).
So atm, you have two choices: Contact customer support and get a new key (there have been people that got working keys) or you wait until there's some kind of official word on this.
I'm in the official EA forum and got official information from the official EA employees, right? The information was (and everybody can read it in this thread) that I have to wait 24 hours and my new key will magically appear.
This was NOT the case.
If anybody is spending money on something and this something is not working, you are not happy with that. I did EVERYTHING mentionable to get this key. I also contacted support with
a) A ticket that was not answered atm
b) a forum reply
c) an own topic
d) live chat contact with EA support
All of this contacts resulted in one: "please wait 24 hours" I did that. Still nothing.
That's not the way a customer should be threaten!
And now you want to explain me that I did something wrong? That I should invest even more time in this? Contact support again? And what? Get the very same answer "Wait" ?
This whole support organisation is not working in this point and I want a solution! I want a working key that I bought! I think that's nothing special!
No, I'm not saying you did wrong.
I'm trying to explain to you that neither MLadyD7 nor myself are working for EA. We are not payed to do this (we get a few perks but that's hardly worth the hours we put into this). We are not EA employees (Ursula is but we are not). So all I ask is to please not be rude anyone who's trying to help you on their own time. You have every right to post here and be angry but it's not necessary to get personal (and your post to MLadyD7 was kinda personal in my opinion). I was trying to explain to you what the AnswerHQ is about. Sorry if I failed, english is not my mother tongue.
We have no other info than you guys have and we're trying to help out as much as we can. The issue should be resovled now and I hope you have gotten your game.
