my origin account is saying i havent downloaded any games!?

i bought the sims 3 for the laptop a while ago and it was fine. i didnt play it for a while then and today when i went to play it i put the game in and logged into my origin account and it said i had never played the game before! it was asking me do i want to download this game and telling me to put in my code even though ive done this before! obviously it then said this code has already been used and now i cant work my game! someone please help...
