My sim will not sleep.

I have had this issue before with 3 other Sims. I will get to a point in the game and she will not sleep at all. I click on beds ( 3 in the home), couches ( 1 or 2) in the home and she will not sleep at all can get her to do other things like eat and shower but will not respond to the sleep command.   What is the way to STOP them from not wanting to sleep. I do not have any mods on my game. The house that she lives in came in the game I did not build it. Do acts of nature in the game cause this to happen? Is it because of my computer files. My computer is Brand new. Do I have to uninstall the game and reinstall?

    If it happens again, try the resetsim cheat:

    Open the cheat window by holding down Ctrl + Shift + C; all three keys at once. Now type the cheat resetsim Firstname Lastname and press enter.

    So, for example, if your sim was called Jane Bloggs you would type in resetsim Jane Bloggs

    Does your sims energy bar go down at all? Is it the same for all sims in all your games?

    Have you tried starting a new game to see if the same thing happens?

    Are you playing with cheats, such as the testingcheatsenabled?

    Yes the engery bar goes down she wants to sleep but cannot lay in a bed or on the couch. Yes it was the same on the others( i deleted thier game files because I got very mad) This is my 3rd sim with this issue. I was able to go back to my save point and start playing from there Im not having the issue now. Is this the only way to solve the issue? I would like to know before it happens again.

    No I am not using cheats. the only one I used was motherlode.
