My sims 3 doesn't start when i hit start button in launcher.

Helo,   Today i downloaded and reinstalled Sims 3 and all expansions ( that used to be DVD-versions) via origin and added 2 digital versions that i bought online. After installing everything i star...

    Ok so i uninstalled bitdefender and sims worked, i reinstalled bitdefender, same problem happened, sims didn't start again.

    So how did i fix this:

    - open bitdefender 

    - go to settings

    - open the option antivirus

    - go to the tab 'Shield'

    - you will see active virus management and to the right of that you will see on/off. Put that off and problem solved.

    Thx for the help i couldend have done this myself.

    • Does the launcher start: yes
    • How far do you get, try to describe what happens in as much details as possible (without getting too lenghty):

           Launcher starts and when i hit play button nothing happens.

    • Do all installed games show up in the Origin client ?: yes
    • Which base game version do you have?: DVD version 1 but on Origin it's been showed as version 2
    • Which Security Software are you using (Firewall, Antivirus) ?: Bitdefender Total security 2013
    • Do you have the disc or download version or a mix ?: I have a mix, university life and paradise are digital, the rest is disc
