My Sims 3 game takes too long to save

I've been playing Sims 3 a lot recently and I've always been able to save and play, then when I'm done save and quit. But, my recent saves take extremely long and I always just end up ending the Sims and turning off my computer. I've never left my computer on long enough to see if it actually saves, but I get no error code or anything. Please help?

So it could be something in your saves?

Yeah I guess because I put them back in my game. I'll delete the ones I don't play on and hopefully that works.

As soon as my game was about to fully load to go into gameplay it crashed. I'll try again later to see if it doesn't crash again, but I deleted all of the save files that I'm not using and I deleted the cache files.

Maybe better off just moving the TS3 folder and starting from scratch with a new one. You've moved out your CC and saves now.
